Camping Facilities

Two buildings can accommodate guests in the Pilgrim Centre. The Pilgrim Guesthouse provides double rooms with en-suite bathrooms, and the Pilgrim Hostelprovides 6- and 14-bed rooms in 3 blocks with a common bathroom and kitchen for each block.

Although this large campsite is not surrounded by a fence, it is a well-defined territory due to its dead end, so the lack of fence has never been a problem. It offers plenty of sporting and walking facilities.

There is a barbecue area where you can cook outdoors.

You can take short walks to the springs and the unique Hermit Caves.

Our fully equipped conference rooms are suitable for workshops and lectures. We also have large tents giving pleasant shade that provide perfect venues for either handcrafting or spiritual retreats.

Apart from walking in this amazing woodland environment, our guests can also learn about the history of the shrine from the Franciscan friars. What is more, they can join the friars’ spiritual routine, too.

Naturally, the friars are happy to give a special blessing to anyone, and they are also ready to celebrate camp opening or closing masses. Group leaders are encouraged to fit the liturgical programmes into their group’s programme if possible.

As for the meals, there are several options. In the Pilgrim Centre there is a restaurant that serves high quality dishes, but, according to the group’s needs, we can also provide simpler hot or cold meals at a reasonable price in the pilgrim’s hostel.
